Design v1 integrates the latest Qualcomm\u00ae Snapdragon\u2122 XR2 Platform within its core glasses frame. \u00a0It also houses the DigiLens Crystal50 waveguide to provide an industry-leading waveguide efficiency of over 325 nits\/lumen with 80% transparency, a 50-degree field-of-view and 400% less eye glow than the next best waveguide based XR headset on the market today. This optical leadership enables the lightest, brightest and most cost-effective pair of smartglasses available today. Partners can leverage the Visualize Framework to develop their software experiences and, if desired, condense into small and specialized form factors. Design v1 units are shipping now to select partners and will be available in volume by early summer.<\/p>\n<p>XR developers remain limited on what viable platforms to express their content on. Much XR hardware today has failed to ship in any real volume. For the de-facto next generation mobile computing device to take hold, it must exceed the experiences that have come before. The Visualize Framework breaks down these barriers that have been gating mass adoption of a compelling XR offering. The modularity of Design v1 allows for customization at the individual component level (electronics, displays, PGUs and design) and the hardware architecture provides the benefit of speed and flexibility, allowing companies to rapidly iterate on form, fashion, cost, performance and reliability independently, yet in parallel with other parts.The Visualize Framework has been uniquely designed to adapt to software specifications, rather than developers having to fit within the constraints of available hardware.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDesign v1 is brighter, lighter and more capable than any other waveguide based XR device on the market.
